Can people heal themselves mentally and physically or does it happen anyway without outside intervention? There has been thousands if not hundreds of thousands of cases of people having cured themselves of many diseases, some serious and some life threatening.
The big question that everyone wants to know is how, how can someone with a malignant tumour with only a short time to live be completely cured with no conventional medicine or surgery. I have read many accounts of people healing themselves and firstly what they all have is an unshakeable believe that they will get better.
We now have a much better understanding of the relationship between our emotional state and the health of our body, what we think has a direct action on our cells. In this modern world we are never going to be very far from stress and its effects, we all need a certain amount of stress to motivate us and to take action. However what we usually experience is stress that has a negative effect on our emotions which can impact on our daily lives and the lives of those who are closest to us.
With sustained and concentrated stress this can lead to depression and a breakdown in our mental and physical health, we all encounter stress in our daily lives but the question is how can we handle it so that is does not be come destructive?
Firstly like everything in our lives we have a choice of what action to take when we are in a stressful situation, now this is easier said than done, but we can with practice choose how we react to the stimulus casing the stress. We can choose to be happy or sad, we can choose to be frightened or not, what we decide is entirely our decision.
When we realise that we can actually control our emotions then we are controlling the stress and taking control of our lives. It really is a case of taking one step at a time and making sure that in a stressful situation you realise that you can control your reactions, and no one can make you feel how you don’t want to feel.
Keep focusing on your reactions to the stressful situation and in time you will find yourself more in control until finally you will be able to choose your own reaction to any situation you find yourself in.

When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime.
3 When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and p revented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies.. These could be due to genetic,environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Cast le Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Pa per isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. Everything impacts on your emotional state, if you are having a good healthy satisfying life or a life of problems and difficulties depends to a large extent on your past and present emotions and how you handled them.
Everyone on this planet will sooner or later have to handle a whole range of human emotions caused by a variety of unexpected happenings in your life from births to deaths and everything in between no one escapes them. So how we cope with our emotions and how we react to them is probably the biggest challenge we have to face in our lives.
How do we get a better emotional state when problems arise? To start with we need to realise that for our ancient ancestors emotions were a matter of life or death, when they felt fear the body was primed for fight or flight it was that simple. With modern man and woman our fear hopefully is not terminal but our body is still programmed like our ancient relatives were.
So when we have an emotional reaction the best way to have some control over it is simply to try and not react but listen to it, really understand what’s causing it, step inside it rather than put it outside onto someone else which is what we usually do. Try to remain calm and let the emotion dissipate.
You need to understand that no one can make you feel anything or anyway that you do not want to feel, this is a hard one to achieve but with practice you can become better. The hardest and most common emotion to control is anger and this, for most of us, is the most destructive for everyone involved. If we can control our anger response before it surfaces and gets out of control we will have a positive effect on ourselves and the people closest to us this one is definitely worth working on.
I don’t want you to become a zombie with no emotions or no reactions to anything, you will always have emotions that’s what’s makes us human but by trying to take control of them instead of them taking control of us we can become a much happier human being in our family at work or in society as a whole.

There are thousands of books and videos telling you what you should and should not eat. What you do eat has a massive impact on your health, well being and even your emotions. Studies have highlighted the link between cancer and what we consume (see a report from the world renowned Johns Hopkins University at the end of this post)
Now I’m not advocating you give up everything you like, although if you want to have optimum physical health then you have to eat more of what we all know are healthy foods these are fruit, vegetables, nuts, pulses with more chicken and fish with less red meat.
Another way we can improve our health is by taking a multivitamin supplement with minerals because even some fresh fruit and vegetables are lacking certain nutrients. It goes without saying that if you smoke and consume drugs then you are not taking care of your health and should seek professional health to give these up.
Don’t try to change your diet completely overnight start by eating a little more fruit and vegetables and increasing the amounts gradually, yes we all like chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, cakes, burgers, chips etc and these can be eaten occasionally as a treat. Its a personal choice like all things in life but life is extremely short so do we want to live a healthy vital life with energy or do we want to be overweight sitting on the couch watching TV all day with no energy its up to you.
The key is to change the way you eat and what you eat one step at a time introducing new things gradually overtime and then it won’t seem such a big deal.

The number one rule for coping better with life’s many twists and turns is to be as fit as you can be.
Our bodies were designed to move and move on a regular basis. Our ancient ancestors did not have supermarkets, they had to walk and run to hunt and gather their food otherwise they starved to death.
What has our ancestors got to do with me? I can here you say. Its very simple, their bodies are exactly the same as ours are today so we need imitate our ancient relatives. No I don’t mean you have to hunt mammoths and sabre toothed tigers but we do need to walk, run or exercise everyday.
Why? because our heart is a muscle and muscles need to be exercised to function properly, our lungs need to supply air to purify our blood and our joints need to be moved to keep us active. You don’t have to train like a professional athlete all you need is 30 minutes of vigorous walking a day so you feel out of breath and I can guarantee after a few days you will feel much fitter and able to cope much better with daily life.
Now if you combine this with some deep breathing three times a day and drinking more water you will surprise yourself with the results you can obtain, it will feel a little hard to start with but keep going for at least four weeks and you will never want to go back to your previous state.
I have to repeat again that this first step is the most important first step you will take to make your life better and to help you cope with the difficulties and problems everyone experiences. No matter what your age or fitness keep going with this simple routine and start the transformation to a happier life that we all deserve.
